Audiology services and prosthetics are provided at the Cheyenne VA. Audiology testing is also available at the Fort Collins CBOC.

Extended Care Unit

Eye Care
All veterans are eligible for eye exams. Basic eligibility for eyeglasses is 10% or greater SC disability. Ophthalmology appointments are scheduled on a referral basis only from Optometry or Primary Care.
Home TeleHealth Program
The unit will ask you preprogrammed questions regarding your specific health issue. It will transmit your answers later through a toll free number to an internet file accessible to VA staff to monitor the next day.
Mental Health
Our mental health program provides consultation, evaluation, and treatment for a variety of issues that can impact emotional well-being. Read more about our mental health program.
Nutrition and Food
Outpatient Nutrition Education is available by a Registered Dietitian. Education is provided in both group and individual settings. Veterans who would like this service can "self - refer" or have a physician referral.
OIF/OEF Program
Cheyenne VAMC provides outreach activities in support of returning combat veterans. The Cheyenne VAMC OIF/ OEF Program is a part of the Wyoming Veterans Coalition, a group composed of several federal, state and local agencies and organizations.
The members of the coalition are bound by the common goal to increase communication and collaboration among organizations serving Wyoming veterans and to improve veteran’s access to information and benefits.
