Cheyenne VAMC depends on the goodwill of our benefactors and volunteers who wish to give back to America's heroes.
Volunteers provide many important functions throughout the Medical Center and help make our patients' stay more enjoyable. Those selfless people who give their time and talent so freely must be registered with VA's Voluntary Services and pass a required background check and health screenings. These steps are required in order to insure a safe and quality experience for Veterans recieving care in the VA system.
Volunteers can perform a number of services, and their talents are closely matched with one of our many assignments.
To volunteer, call or visit the VAMC Cheyenne Voluntary Service Office. We will be happy to receive your application or discuss how you can help us in our mission to provide comfort and care to America's veterans.
Those who volunteer 4 hours will recieve a free meal ticket (a $5.00 value) for the VA Canteen. Those who volunteer 8 hours will recieve two free meal tickets (total value of $10.00).
