Parking
Free parking is available to all patients of Cheyenne VAMC. Patients and visitors for the Clinical Addition, Specialty Clinic and Inpatient Care should park in the west end lot, accessible from Pershing Blvd or Converse Ave. Patients and visitors for all other buildings should park in the east end lot, accessible from Pershing Blvd.
Note that beginning in the spring of 2009, the City of Cheyenne will be excavating the southwest corner of the property in order to build a stormwater retention pond. The land that this project will take place on is the property of Cheyenne, however, we can expect it to impact travel and parking on the Cheyenne VAMC campus.
Handicapped Parking
Handicapped parking is available in both the west and east lots.
Security
Cheyenne VAMC Police Officers provide 24-hour patrols of the facility and parking lots. For general police assistance, please dial 7315. In case of an emergency, dial 7777. Report all suspicious or criminal activity, vehicle accidents, and personal property losses to the VA Police while on the facility grounds as soon as possible.
